The Homebrood is an LGBT+ tabletop streaming group who focus on narrative storytelling and roleplay.

The Homebrood are a group of close friends, several of which have known each other since middle school. We grew up loving storytelling and the arts, and give or take a few dedicated members we have been playing tabletop games (and video games) together for over a decade.

Since there are ten of us, we tend to swap players out for each campaign, so some might feature some players, while others won't. A standard in pretty much all of our games though is Xalthir, who is the group's main DM.

Though we have been playing tabletop games forever, it was our in-person campaign Oracle of Tiber that got us thinking about streaming. At the time though, we didn't quite have the guts as a group to try and make it in a super saturated field (Critical Role was just up and coming around this time), so we recorded our campaign to the best of our ability to be uploaded online later. Our equipment was lackluster, lots of the audio was lost or just bad, we didn't begin recording till the middle of the campaign, and it was a general mess, so unfortunately Oracle of Tiber never came to be.

After an equipment upgrade, we started recording our in-person game Vornyana: The Eye Of The World and this went much better. Though we haven't uploaded the campaign yet, as it's on hiatus due to the pandemic, we at least plan to at some point.

After our campaigns Oracle of Tiber and Sovereign-1 ended, we started up Vornyana: The Eye Of The World. It is now on hiatus as mentioned, so we currently have two online campaigns running titled Desecrux and Ley Lines.

Ley Lines is where we finally decided to take the plunge into streaming, and we've been loving every bit of it. Finally being able to share these worlds, characters, and stories that mean so much to us has been an amazing experience.
